El Tríalo Rincoeño was founded in 1982 as a non-profit corporation. This organization, made up of native volunteers from Rincón, is dedicated to promoting and promoting the sport of Triathlon among adults and children from all over Puerto Rico.
Most relevant achievements:
- Qualifying Event sanctioned by the ITU in the First Caribbean Cup 2002
- Qualifying Event for athletes participating in Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008
- Venue of the Central American Games of the Caribbean Mayagüez 2010
- Qualifying Championship for the ITU World Triathlon Grand Final Rotterdam 2017
